You could grab a stick and hike for hours up the Coast Mountains to see some breathtaking scenery. Or you could grab a ticket to Sea to Sky Gondola, and get whisked 885 meters up the mountainside in 10 minutes flat. See the towering waterfalls, magnificent fjords, and cloud-piercing mountain ranges in one sweeping panorama, and chuckle at the sweat-breaking hikers huffing and puffing below!
Feel your belly jump as cable car propels you up the mountain, and see Howe Sound's dazzling blue interconnecting fjords open up before your eyes. Do remember to inhale now and then - your breath will be taken!
Marvel at Shannon Falls, cascading down through the treeline, and see the monolithic granite dome of Stawamus Chief, jutting out of the countryside as you rise steadily into the pine-lined peaks.
Once you reach the summit, there's a wide variety of outdoorsy pursuits to enjoy, including numerous hiking trails, rock climbing, trails to backcountry routes and much more. Once you're done, it's back down the mountain for a vertigo-inducing descent!
