It's a world of country-western themed adventure at Slagharen. Highly-rated and whisky barrels full of fun, this theme park is one of the best day trips you can take in the Netherlands!

Step into the carnival and feel the pull of the circus! Give a high-five to Randy and Rosie at a meet and greet, put on your dancin' shoes when the Red Bandits take the stage.

From Chuck Wagon to the mighty Gold Rush rollercoaster, Slagharen has plenty of action-packed thrill for your little cowboy or cowgirl. Plus there's plenty of side-splitting entertainment and more. Of course, if you need a break from the western-themed activity, make your way to Jules' Adventureland and head off on the amazing Expedition Nautilus.

With 31 rides (including 2 rollercoasters and 2 water rides), Slagharen will have the whole family shouting "Yeeehaaw!"

  • On the day of your visit, please show your Tiqets' smartphone ticket and the timeslot reservation at the entrance. Please note that the date on your Tiqets' ticket and the timeslot reservation have to match!
  • There are attractions that are easily accessible for disabled or wheelchair users, but not all attractions are. There are also shows that are easily accessible to disabled people. Ask at Guest Service for the brochure listing all attractions and their accessibility

Getting There

  • Train: All trains to Hardenberg or Hoogeveen. From there, take the bus and get off at Attractiepark, Slagharen
  • The cost for parking is €10 per car. Parking tickets are available at the reception, cash register or vending machines in Slagharen Amusement Park
  • Dogs are allowed at Slagharen Amusement Park, but not in the attractions, shows, restaurants and stores
