You will be given a visitor guide and map, as you explore around the prison, you can use the sound boxes to learn the facts and history of the prison. The information boards add fascinating background detail to your visit, with staff always available to point you in the right direction and answer any questions you may have.

A brilliant insight into what prison life was like for those who worked there & those there at her majesties pleasure, we enjoyed it, definitely recommend visiting here.

Self guided to was okay. The flow and direction need to be clearer. Some of the doors (like the courtyard) need signs on.
