About: The Swedish Museum of Performing Arts

Step into the world of theatre, music, and dance – on stage and behind the scenes. The Swedish Museum of Performing Arts is a dance floor, a rehearsal room, and an experimental workshop for all ages in central Stockholm.

The museum is in central Stockholm, housed in one of Northern Europe’s oldest preserved industrial buildings, the beautiful Kronobageriet, dating back to the 17th century. Over the years, it has been used as a bakery, an armory, and a liquor cellar. It’s as much a part of the museum as the objects and installations.
