  • Meet your guide at Largo Del Colonnato. This is the area just outside of the St. Peters Square colonnades, on the right side if you’re looking at St. Peter’s Basilica
  • You’ll see a representative holding a “The Tour Guy” sign, standing between the fountain and the green kiosk
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early
  • To access St. Peter's Basilica, please consider that from June to the end of August there could be long lines and the waiting time could be up to 30 minutes

Important: The meeting point is outside the Basilica before entering St. Peter's Square and the security checks. Do not go through the metal detectors before meeting your guide

Prepare for an exciting tour of St. Peter's Basilica! Start at the impressive St. Peter's Square and make your way to the basilica entrance. See the Holy Door, hear stories about the Pope's speeches, and admire the Colonnade.

Next, take a quick elevator ride up St. Peter's Dome, then climb to the top with your guide for amazing views.

After visiting the Dome, come back down to see the Baldacchino, the Statue of St. Peter, and the Pietà, all with the help of your guide.

Finally, go down into the papal crypts beneath the basilica. Pay respects to the tombs of past popes and see the ancient walls of the original basilica.
