Great museum, it requires at least 2 hours for a good visit. Nice real size ships and emigration so exposition with multimedia experiences. Could have better explanation of directions

Excellent
The aquarium was fantastic, the exhibits were well explained with interactive elements. The Galata Sea gives a wonderful overview of the maritime history of Genoa.

The building itself is the oldest surviving construction in the dockyard of the old Republic. It's a worthwhile attraction for anyone interested in the ocean, immigration, and the history of Genoa.
