Definitely a must for this trip, we could save a lot of walking on the roads as the bus leaves us directly at the entry. You can skip the guides, from our experience we hardly under what he said...

I think this tour is important because you have transport from and back to Pompeii, so you can see Pompeii and Vesuvius in one day. Also the mini bus gets all the way to the entrance to Vesuvius,...
I think this tour is important because you have transport from and back to Pompeii, so you can see Pompeii and Vesuvius in one day. Also the mini bus gets all the way to the entrance to Vesuvius, and you don't have to walk long distance from public parking to the entrance of the mounatin.
