Excellent
Boarding on and off the boat was smooth. They travel through the areas so both sides of the boat get good views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. We even got to see dolphins!

Unfortunately due to illness was not able to go. Can not rate experience. Would have loved opportunity to reschedule which was not option.

Alcatraz brillant… lucky to do the walking tour as I couldn’t get a safe internet connection on wifi to produce the tickets on my phone .. they let us do the walking tour the following day so excellent 👍

Home to the Aquarium of the Bay, the Magowan’s Infinite Mirror Maze and many more attractions, San Francisco's PIER 39 has a lot more to offer than sea lions - although, you won't want to miss a peek at those pinnipeds sprawled all over the jetty.

Located at Beach Street & The Embarcadero, PIER 39 is a great family attraction in itself. Open late, this tourist hotspot is home to various waterfront bars and restaurants, retail stores, kiosks and food carts.

Aquarium of the Bay

Aquarium of the Bay is located at San Francisco's popular PIER 39. Its focus, as the name suggests, is local aquatic animals from the San Francisco Bay (and nearby waterways). There are three main exhibit areas, each with a specific point of focus. The most thrilling is the underwater tunnel, though the touch pools and naturalist talks also help make this an exciting and interactive way to get to know the bay.

The Snøhetta expansion (completed in 2016) doubled the amount of exhibition space at the SFMOMA.
