Villa Mussolini
Villa Mussolini overlooks a promenade on the Adriatic, and is currently home to the Frida Khalo exhibition, A Life in Images. Built around 1890 in the style of vacation villas of the late 19th and early 20th century, the two-storey building boasts a tower overlooking a stunning garden - great for summer strolls.
From 1934 to 1943 it became the summer residence of the Mussolini family, who expanded the original building and the surrounding space. After being sold in 1952 and later acquired by the Carim Foundation it was lovingly restored and since 2005 the Villa has been granted on loan to the City of Riccione. It's now a glorious, much-loved home to cultural events and exhibitions.
