Located in Seattle's Scandinavian neighborhood of Ballard, the National Nordic Museum is home to a permanent exhibition, Nordic Journeys, which shows how Nordic life and culture as it has evolved over the last twelve thousand years. There's also a rotating series of exhibitions from major Nordic cultural institutions and artists. Inside in 2022, guests can see the likes of "From Dawn to Dusk: Nordic Art from Sweden's Nationalmuseum", as well as a 19th and early 20th century photography exhibition, "Across the West and Towards the North: Norwegian and American Landscape Photography," amongst others.
Outdoors, check out the Museum’s labyrinth on the south terrace, the oldest operating Finnish sauna in the east garden, and more.
