If tracking alligators through Florida's wetland wilderness in a high-speed airboat sounds like fun to you, good news: your sense of adventure is alive and kicking! Hop into a state-of-the-art custom watercraft, and zoom off across Central Florida's Everglades on the hunt for crafty crocodilians and other colorful beasties that call the Sunshine State home.

With the wind in your hair, and the Florida sunshine sparkling off the water, you'll whirr and powerslide across Central Florida's Everglades in an authentic southern airboat – it's the only way to travel around these parts.

The scenic beauty of Central Florida's Everglades can't be overstated. It's a vast untouched expanse of rare flora and abundant wildlife. You can find exotic insects unique to the region and birds of every color, as well as frogs, bobcats, and everything in between. It's the resident reptiles that are the most jaw-dropping, though.

Make sure you keep your hands and feet inside at all times – 2,000 pounds per square inch of biting power can be detrimental for your wellbeing! Gator sightings are almost guaranteed, with thousands of these smiling swamp dragons lurking among the reeds.

After your airboat tour, you'll be free to explore the 32-acre Southport Park, where Native American heritage shows, gem and mineral mining activities, and a baby gator farm keep the entertainment levels at full tilt.

  • The best time to see alligators is early in the morning and later in the day
  • Wheelchairs can not go on the boat (they can get all the way to the boat and after there are 3 steps into the boat)
  • Service animals must be on a leash and in control at all times in the park. They are allowed on the boat if it is safe for all the passengers
  • The Boggy Bottom BBQ Restaurant is open from 10:00 until 18:30
