One World Observatory FAQs

One World Observatory offers views over all of New York – you'll get a full 360° perspective on the city and its surrounding area. On a clear day, your One World Observatory tickets will let you see as far as 45 miles (72.5 km) in every direction!

From spotting landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to lesser-known gems like upstate New York and the hills in the distance, you'll be in a perfect position to see New York from the best possible perspective.

If you're a foodie at heart, you're in luck. Trying out one of the tasty options at One World Observatory is guaranteed to elevate your trip to an even higher level. There's an excellent bar and restaurant available at the Observatory, full of delicious things to eat and drink.

The ONE Dine menu has everything from gnocchi mac and cheese to the classic all-American burger (a crowd favorite). You can also get amazing cocktails at the bar, perfect for an evening toast to one of the best views in the world.

Choose a 'Skip the Ticket Line' ticket for general admittance and to skip ahead of anyone who's trying to buy their ticket on the spot. If you're looking to get in even faster, choose a 'Skip All Lines' ticket to get priority access (as well as priority exit on your way out!) and zoom past everyone.

For the real VIP experience, go with the 'All Inclusive Flex Package' and get all of the above plus $15 credit to use on drinks or souvenirs – and best of all, you'll get to arrive at any time during the day! No rushing, no stress, but plenty of fun.

You can also combine your One World Observatory ticket with a range of other New York experiences. Take a guided tour at 9/11 Ground Zero, visit the Statue of Liberty, or take a comprehensive walking tour of NYC before viewing the city from above.

This depends very much on what you'd like to see! Take advantage of clear skies by visiting during the day, or wait until the evening to take in a truly magical atmosphere.

The views of the New York skyline from the Observatory are especially romantic at night, making it a perfect time to visit if you're in a romantic mood – right before a candlelit dinner perhaps?

There are a few things you could miss if you're not paying attention. One World Observatory has some amazing experiences to offer right from the very start – from the gigantic curved LED wall welcoming you to the super-fast SkyPod elevators, it's a good idea to take a moment before you go up to really orient yourself and learn about your surroundings. There's plenty of information at the start of the experience that will make sure you're not at the top wondering "Wait, what is that big statue in the distance?!".

Luckily, even if you do find yourself a bit lost, the dedicated staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and will happily tell you all about the sights as well as the history surrounding the area.
