New York Aquarium FAQs

Yes! You can park onsite at the New York Aquarium. Parking rates are determined by the duration of your stay. Please note that all vehicles must vacate the parking lot by 5:00 PM.

If you are getting there by car, this address will take you straight to the parking lot: 602 Surf Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11224.

If driving to the New York Aquarium in the summer, cars are only permitted to turn left into the Aquarium parking lot and must approach heading WEST along Surf Ave (coming from Ocean Parkway).

  • Take the B68 bus to Neptune Ave. and West 8th St

To enjoy everything the New York Aquarium has to offer, plan to spend between 2 and 2.5 hours.

While all visitors are required to have a date-specific ticket for entry, you can stay as long as you'd like during the regular hours of operation (which can vary depending on the season).

The pass pays for itself with the money saved, but it listed Statue of Liberty as an option, which is one of the main things we wanted, but they would not accept it so we had to buy tickets separately.
