About: Muzeum Slivovice R. Jelínek

Muzeum Slivovice R. Jelínek is located just beside the Vltava River in the center of Prague. This boutique museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history of Czech fruit spirit distillation and production, as well as the Wallachian history and culture with which it is associated. Inside, you'll be guided on an immersive journey through the centuries, discovering how the first plums and fruits were turned into alcoholic spirits, and how these beverages came to form a central part of Czech culture. The tour is a multi-sensory experience that incorporates virtual reality, and of course, some delicious tastings of the various fruit spirits.
