What an amazing light show and an insight in to the history of Lisbon. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend for young children. There are some stools available but be prepared to stand or sit on the...

What an amazing light show and an insight in to the history of Lisbon. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend for young children. There are some stools available but be prepared to stand or sit on the floor. Toilets are available. There is a small street bar to get a refreshment at the corner of the square.

About: Museu Arqueológico do Carmo

The Carmo Convent is a historic site with a rich history. Originally a Catholic convent, it was significantly damaged in the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, leaving the ruins of the Gothic church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, which is worth a visit. Currently, the former convent serves as an archaeological museum, the Museu Arqueológico do Carmo, houses a vast collection.
