Nathanaëlle Herbelin, a French-Israeli artist and a longstanding visitor to the Musée d'Orsay collections since her childhood, has been invited to provide insight into her paintings and sources of inspiration. Descendant of the Nabis, she revives their favored themes—everyday life, domestic interiors, and intimacy—in compositions that maintain a resolutely contemporary aesthetic.
