Great views from the top and cheaper than paying "on the door". We were even able to change the day we visited because of the weather - really helpful staff. Word of warning though - avoid busy...

About: Columbus Monument
At the base of Barcelona's famous La Rambla stands this 60 m tall monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus (known in Catalan as Monument a Colom). Built in 1888 for Barcelona's Universal Exposition this monument was designed to let the world know that Christopher Columbus reported back to the Spanish Royal Family after he 'discovered' America.
