Getting There

Montserrat is a one-hour drive from Barcelona. You can go by car to the top, but the parking there has an extra fee and is often full. The best option, if you'd like to enjoy the view on your way to the top, is the cable car (Funicular Aeri De Montserrat).

Booking was easy, everything seemed understandable. The only pity was that the address leading to the place was the upper address, so we drove down and up to use the tickets. We just didn't notice...
Booking was easy, everything seemed understandable. The only pity was that the address leading to the place was the upper address, so we drove down and up to use the tickets. We just didn't notice and didn't understand that there was a parking lot and a stop below - we trusted the GPS address. Still liked everything
