A thematic space in Madrid, with over 1,200 animals from 152 species. Spread over 16 hectares, it has 4 ecosystems and 15 themed areas.
Explore four ecosystems: The Jungle, where you’ll meet manatees, macaws, and feel a tropical storm; the Polar Ecosystem, with over 100 penguins from six species, the largest in Europe; the African Forest, with lemurs and birds; and the Temperate Forest, with animals like the muntjac and demoiselle crane.
Visit themed areas such as a nocturnal zone lit by moonlight, or a karst cave with mole rats. Walk through an Australian meadow with Bennet's wallaby, see Nile crocodiles in a mangrove, or observe snakes and jellyfish.
Faunia offers educational activities on marine mammals and birds of prey, with talks and interactive experiences with sea lions, manatees, and more. Faunia also focuses on the conservation of endangered species, working with the Parques Reunidos Foundation and EAZA to raise awareness and encourage environmental care.
Combine Faunia Nature Park with other Madrid favorites. Some things are better together.
