London Eye FAQs

All eyes are on the London Eye when tourists arrive, so it's best to avoid peak times – between 11:00 and 15:00.

Instead, plan to arrive right when the attraction opens, or just before it closes. If you get lucky, you may even witness a sunset over the Thames.

The London Eye is located on the River Thames, with a view of the river on one side, and the Jubilee Gardens on the other.

This giant Ferris wheel stands tall at 135 m (443 ft) above London with incredible views of Westminster Bridge, Whitehall Gardens, and even Big Ben on a clear day.

Centrally located in the middle of the bustling city of London, the London Eye is easy to find.

The nearest tube station is Waterloo – alight here and exit on the South Bank. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to the London Eye (you can't miss it!).

Excellent

Good
