Travel to the heart of the countryside and lay your eyes on castles, cathedrals, a city called Canterbury and the White Cliffs of Dover.

Say goodbye to London as you head through leafy-green Greenwich and onto Kent, known as the Garden of England thanks to its abundant orchards and hop gardens.

You're here to look at Leeds Castle. Its dark history includes medieval queens, King Henry VIII and more villainy than a Game of Thrones season finale.

Next on your stop is Canterbury Cathedral, which in spite of being more majestic than the Queen is also a murder site - here's where Thomas Becket, the Archbishop of Canterbury, perished at the hands of the king's followers in 1170.

It's not all doom! There are listed buildings, the ruins of St Augustine’s Abbey and some early medieval stained glass. And then you're off to the White Cliffs of Dover.

These giant chalky walls fend off the English Channel. Used for defense in the war, they're still pretty useless against the wind, so wrap up warm!
