The National Pantheon of Lisbon took a long time to build - 284 years in fact! It was declared the National Pantheon in 1916 and today, many former presidents of the Republic of Portugal are buried here.

Pay your respects to them, as well as other prominent personalities on your visit, including Humberto Delgado, a great opponent of the Salazar dictatorship, Vasco da Gama, Luís de Camões and fado artist Amália Rodrigues. The panoramic views of Alfama from the terrace are worthy of a few photos, too.

The place was great but Tiqets had sold me tickets for Jan 30, 2024 even though I had purchased them on June 13, 2024 for June 20, 2024. Fortunately, the usher took pity on my kids and me and let us in.

Terrible
Fatal, compré unos tickets en junio 2024 y me enviaron las entradas con fecha de enero de 2024 … Encima 20 euros dos tickets cuando en realidad fueron 12 al comprarlos en el monumento
