Begin a tour from La Spezia, Lerici, or Portovenere, and view the Gulf of Poets. The first stop is Portovenere to see the colorful fishermen's houses, San Giorgio Castle, and San Pietro Church, along with Byron's Cave. Next, observe the unique red rocks, colored by bacteria over millions of years, and visit the Monesteroli inlet. At around 11:30, taste Ligurian focaccia with Prosecco, wine, or soft drinks, and enjoy a swim in a beautiful cove. Head to the Protected Marine Area of Cinque Terre, starting with Riomaggiore, followed by Manarola and Corniglia. Around 13:30, take another swim near Corniglia and have a pasta dish with Limoncello. End the tour at Vernazza and Monterosso.
