Visit Zakopane, the center of Poland's Tatra Mountains. Enjoy the scenery, ideal for winter sports and trekking. Listen to the unique local dialect and taste traditional foods (at your own expense). See the wooden buildings that are special to the area. Learn about their distinct architectural style, ie, the Witkiewicz Style.

Go to Zakopane's marketplace to find handmade home items and traditional cheeses like oscypek. Ride the Gubałówka Hill cable car for clear views of the Tatra Mountains. Spend free time walking around Krupowki Street. Visit the wooden chapel of Jaszczurówka and see the wooden cemetery at Peksowy Brzyzek.

You can choose to walk around on your own for five hours. Alternatively, relax at Chochołów Thermal Pools and Aqua Park. You can also combine a guided tour of Zakopane with relaxation in the pools.
