What to do at ICON Park Orlando

The Ferris wheel formerly known as the 'Orlando Eye', The Wheel at ICON Park offers spectacular views over the city from a dizzying 400 feet up. From the very top you can see Big Sandlake and Little Sandlake, the famous castle at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, as well as the landmarks of Downtown Orlando.

This Orlando Ferris wheel takes approximately 18 minutes for one full revolution and each cabin is fully air-conditioned, so daytime rides in the Florida sunshine are breezy and comfortable as can be. At night, The Wheel turns into a mesmerizing light show, as 64,000 color-changing LEDs light up and twinkle in spectacular fashion.

What would ICON Park be without some famous icons? At Madame Tussauds Orlando, you can brush shoulders with the biggest stars of Hollywood, as well as superheroes, sporting legends, political leaders, and more.

More than just a wax museum, Madame Tussauds Orlando has a number of awesome themed rooms and interactive attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Always a crowd-pleaser, this celebrity-filled fun house will keep you laughing and snapping hilarious selfies to your heart's content.

What does Sea Life Orlando have that other aquariums don't? A celebrity turtle! At Sea Life Orlando you'll meet Ted, the rescued turtle who helped develop the Turtle Excluder Device – an invention that helps other turtles escape when caught in fishing nets.

As well as meeting Ted, you'll get to enjoy a deep-dive adventure into the world of marine wildlife, with graceful stingrays, crafty crabs, hungry sharks, fabulous clownfish, and lots more. There's a 360° aquarium tunnel, a daily feeding frenzy, and tons more to check out.

If The Wheel at ICON Park is a little too relaxed to satisfy your adrenaline needs, put your courage and tolerance for lofty heights to the test with a hair-raising spin on the Orlando StarFlyer.

Halfway between a skyscraper and a chair-o-plane ride, the StarFlyer is not your average theme park attraction. These swings soar above the ground at over 230 feet, and rotate 360 degrees at roughly 50 miles per hour! The views are incredible – if you're brave enough to keep your eyes open, that is.

Think you've got a good grasp on reality? Think again! With over 50 brain-bending illusions and bamboozling optical tricks, the Museum of Illusions Orlando is a wonderland of interactive installations and walkthrough exhibits.

One of the most popular attractions at Icon Park, it's suitable for all ages. From holograms to tricky mirrors and photographic illusions, it's a good idea to bring a camera to immortalize the puzzled look on everyone's faces.

Admission to ICON Park is absolutely free, so you're able to explore the bars, shops, and restaurants at your leisure, and get up close to inspect the park's star attractions. However, you'll need some tickets to ride and access the various attractions.

ICON Park Orlando does also provide free parking for visitors to the park. So you can pocket that extra cash to spend on must-have souvenirs and delicious food and drinks at the park's many facilities.
