Een geweldige plek om te bezoeken. In alle rust. Ook de burcht rechtover het domein bezocht. De aanwezige politieman heeft ons met heel veel trots een rondleiding gegeven. De kleinkinderen waren...

Prevoir 4h de visite pour cette ville antique qui a connu un long declin contrairement à Pompeii. Pas trop fréquenté donc visite agréable et immersive.

About: Fiumicino Ship Museum
Get a chance to marvel at the hulls of ancient Roman ships which were unearthed from the original lagoon in the Harbour of Claudius.
In order to preserve the fragile wooden remains and display them, the hulls were restored in the ‘60s and in 1979 the Roman Ships Museum was inaugurated in the place of their discovery.
