Disneyland Paris FAQs
If you really want to experience everything and take your time doing it, opt for a 2, 3 or 4-day pass.
It's possible to enjoy Disneyland Paris in one day, particularly in the summer when opening hours are long, but it's tough to get enough of being here – especially for kids.
Whichever Disneyland Paris tickets you get, remember to make the most of them by arriving early to beat the crowds. And don't be afraid to go solo if you're the only one brave enough for a ride!
Your Disneyland Paris tickets will buy you a good time, whenever you decide to go. In general though, if you don't mind the colder weather, the best months to visit are January and March. In these quiet times you can easily pack more rides, or mouse-encounters into your itinerary.
Plan to go mid-week (Tuesdays to Thursdays) during mid-January through mid-March, or mid-April through mid-May. Fewer visitors mid-week mean waiting times are much shorter. September is a great time to visit too. The weather can still be quite mild, but it's off peak, which means staying in and around Paris should be more affordable.
You'll need to stay all day, or at least leave when the park closes if you want to catch the fireworks. This spectacular closing ceremony happens every day between 9-11pm, depending on the time of year.
If you want a great eating experience, it's best to pick your restaurant based on the theme rather than the food. You may not remember your chicken nuggets or pizza slices, but you will remember dining in a room based on Victorian inventions with conceptual art pieces dangling from the ceiling!
Some of the best-themed restaurants in Disneyland Paris are Chuck Wagon Cafe, Annette's Diner, Captain’s Quarters, and Redwood Bar and Lounge. For baked goods, The Cable Car Bake Shop is small but the stained glass lights and cable car artwork make it a hit.
Bistrot Chez Rémy offers delicious food, as well as a fun theme based on the movie Ratatouille. Expect giant silverware, oversized jam jar lids, champagne corks and more all integrated into the environment. You'll need to book ahead.
If you're on a budget, pack snacks and eat dinner early in Disney Village. There are several good budget options here and they're all open late, including Earl of Sandwich, McDonald’s, and Five Guys.
Download the Disneyland app and reserve your table in advance!
While there are plenty of places to buy food and drinks in Disneyland Paris, you are also allowed to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks into the park. Just leave the glass containers at home!
You're free to take your backpacks onto most Disneyland rides. Only RC Racer and Parachute Drop require bag storage. Don't forget that all bags are subject to search by security on the way in, after you've shown your Disneyland Paris tickets.
Here are some things you can (and should) bring into Disneyland Paris:
- Ponchos, for the wet rides and rain showers
- Makeup wipes, also for the wet rides and rain showers
- Battery-powered fans (in summer)
- An extra t-shirt and socks
- Refillable water bottles
- Band-aids
- Snacks

-
Thalys from Amsterdam
-
Eurostar from London
-
Frecciarossa from Milan
-
Buses and trains run from Paris
