The Felidae Wildcat and Species Conservation Center Barnim is a small private facility just outside Berlin in Barnim, Brandenburg. Our visitors can find here about 25 species of predators in about 65 individuals. The main focus is on numerous large and small cats. We are fully committed to species conservation through breeding efforts, research and education. For many years we have been involved in European breeding programs (EEPs) with clouded leopards, jaguarundis, fossas and snow leopards. Through a Europe-wide network, we promote the conservation of other endangered species. For the protection of the local fauna we have a close cooperation with the regional wildlife rescue.
