The palace is beautiful and the tour of the distillery is interesting too. Be warned not every tour has an English speaking option, we had to rebook when we arrived.

La visite très bien. Je recommande à tous. Sauf pour la verrière à la fin de la visite. 30 minutes pour avoir un café dégueulasse et 10 minutes après des crêpes non cuites..

Le Palais Bénédictine is only a stone's throw from Fécamp Abbey, the original producer of the herbal liqueur Bénédictine. Its origins at the abbey date back to 1510 with the Benedictine Monk Dom Bernardo Vincelli, but the formula was thought lost during the French Revolution.

The formula was rediscovered by chance in the library of a 19th-century wine trader who recreated the delectable liqueur and built a palace along with a distillery. A visit to Le Palais Bénédictine includes an intriguing history lesson and an even more interesting tasting!
