Kazuko Miyamoto, born in Tokyo in 1942, is a key figure in New York's Lower East Side art scene, merging Western art with her Japanese heritage.
The Belvedere showcases approximately 100 of her works, including string constructions, paintings, photographs, drawings, and installations, spanning from the late 1960s to the 2010s.

Belvedere 21: Museum of Contemporary Art
Belvedere 21: Museum of Contemporary Art is a modernist-style steel and glass building designed by Austrian architect Karl Schwanzer. Originally constructed as the Austrian pavilion or temporary showroom for the Expo 58 in Brussels, it was later transferred to Vienna to house the Museum of the 20th Century.
