The Torre Bellesguard house was built between 1900 and 1909. For this project, Gaudí used a rectilinear approach, a method he had hardly put into practice before. He was inspired by a medieval castle belonging to Martin I of Aragon, known as Martin I the Humane, the last king of the Catalan dynasty. And when Antoni Gaudí got inspired, architectural magic soon followed.

Explore the Modernist and Gothic styles that ended up inspiring some of the architectural solutions that Gaudí would apply to the Sagrada Familia. Plus, enjoy spectacular views of Barcelona: Bellesguard literally means "beautiful view" in Catalan.

Extremely friendly staff. It's easy to get to Torre Bellesguard by bus or, if you're in the mood, by foot. Gaudi's extraordinary depot will leave you breathless. Playfulness with materials, shapes, colors and an epic view from the top of Bellesguard, you will leave here full of impressions. Definitely one of the nicest places in Barcelona. It's worth a visit.
