Atlanta's beloved Yuletide spectacle returns, casting a radiant glow on the wildlife.

On the hunt for Atlanta's best holiday activities? This event fills the bill. Perfect for creating family memories, charming a date, or reveling with pals, the festivities will make this holiday season even more special. Take a leisurely mile-long walk past the animals as well as the lanterns shaped like beasts (both real and mythical!) including leopards, and a blazing phoenix.

Warm up after with a cup of hot cocoa (or a festive adult beverage if you're over 21!)

Revel in the simple pleasure of a marshmallow roast over an open flame or take advantage of the snap-worthy photo opportunities that abound!

Scan your smartphone ticket at the entrance gates.

  • IllumiNights is an evening event. While most animals go indoors for the night, giant pandas (indoor dayroom habitats), Chilean flamingos, and Huacaya alpacas may be visible
  • In the event of rain, please bring the appropriate gear. As safety is our number-one priority, in the event weather conditions are assessed to be a safety hazard, Zoo Atlanta reserves the right to close or cancel the event
  • IllumiNights is a separate ticketed event, so all daytime guests will be asked to leave the Zoo by 5 p.m. so we can set up for the evening. If you have a daytime ticket, you may then reenter using your IllumiNights between 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Paid public parking is available in the Cherokee Avenue lot (flat rate of $6 during IllumiNights) and in the Grant Park Gateway parking facility on Boulevard. Lots are patrolled, but please leave valuable items at home or secure them out of view

Excellent
Great! I ordered my tickets the same day. We bought them for the Illuminights at the Atlanta Zoo. They were digital tix I put right in my Apple Wallet and had no issues at all!

A double entertainment oportunity...Another wonderful example of a great light show in the area .... and the zoo was also nice to see again during the afternoon

Terrible
Bought these tickets the day off- thinking they were for the zoo. They were not! Oh- and also not refundable or able to reschedule. Buyer beware!!! Do your research before you use this site!!!
