I would thoroughly recommend going on this walking tour: its a great introduction to the museum and the acropolis. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. There is so much to see it would be difficult to assimilate it all without this type of initial guidance (I went back after to review it all in greater detail). I would warn anyone going on the acropolis to take head of the weather forecast. Even if your tour starts with a blue sky, there are very very occasionally storms, and when these do occur you will get very wet! as there is absolutely no shelter on top. But despite this I really enjoyed it: its an amazing place.
