Explore Australia's arid wilderness at the Alice Springs Desert Park, a gateway to the outback that fascinates visitors worldwide. Located near Alice Springs and under the West MacDonnell Ranges, the park celebrates the heritage of the local Arrernte people and showcases the Akngwelye and Yeperenye Altyerre (wild dog and caterpillar) dreamtime stories.

The park features three desert ecosystems, Desert Rivers, Sand Country, and Woodland, each highlighting the rugged beauty and resilient life of the desert. You can enjoy guided presentations, a free-flying bird show, and rare encounters with endangered species at the Nocturnal House.

Managed by the Northern Territory Government and the Parks and Wildlife Commission, the park focuses on conservation, research, and breeding programs, earning Advanced Ecotourism Accreditation.
