Fantastic experience! Our guide Stefan was exceptional - both knowledgeable and personable. He vividly bought Berlin to life weaving the city’s history into the heartbeat of present day Berlin.

Excellent
It was a dreary day in December, and we could still see a whole lot.
Be prepared for bag checks and metal detectors--just like at the airport.

The evening is supposed to be cool but lights from inside are reflected on the windows and they ruin the view pretty bad.
For 10€ it would be worth, for almost 30€ not really.

About: Museum Island

In 1999 Museum Island (Museumsinsel in German) was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It sure deserves the distinction: this small island on the Spree has a singular collection of buildings, all filled with art and cultural artifacts.

The six museums are: Altes Museum, Neues Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Bode-Museum, Pergamonmuseum. Das Panorama, and Pergamonmuseum (closed until April 2027).

Each museum is a world-renowned storehouse of works of significant cultural value. Taken together this is one of the finest museum complexes in the world.
