Getting to Keukenhof from Amsterdam by train
There is no train station directly next to Keukenhof gardens, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get from Amsterdam to Keukenhof gardens by train! Instead, take the train to Leiden Central, a city nearby the bulb region. At Leiden Central Station, switch to bus line 854 (Leiden – Keukenhof Express).
The entire journey from Amsterdam takes around 60-90 minutes (train, plusbus), and there’s plenty of scenic canals, windmills, and farmland to see along the way.

Traveling by car to Keukenhof?
The Keukenhof gardens are located between Amsterdam and Leiden. To plan your route, use Keukenhof’s address in your navigation: Stationsweg 166A, Lisse.
You can easily reach the gardens via the A4 (exit Nieuw-Vennep) and the A44 (exit 3 Lisse), and follow the signs to Keukenhof. It takes about 35 minutes, but can be longer with traffic conditions during busy times.
There’s limited parking available onsite, and it’s possible to pre-book your parking space before you arrive.
When traveling through the bulb region at peak season, drive safely to avoid cyclists and pedestrians who are also out enjoying the blooms.
