There were great views; the journey up was fantastic because there were very few passengers at 10:30 on a drizzly day. On the way down it was bright and sunny, but there were many more passengers....

Great attraction. But be careful how lifts work at Beach station. Last weekend one out of order and second one takes 5-6 visitors - expect long lines and waiting both up and down at peak hours.

Best to buy tickets before as it avoids a lot of queuing. There is a lift that takes you up to the startt of the cable car ride in the harbour. It was a brilliant excusion across the old harbour....
